Bulghur Wheat is made with organically grown durum wheat that has been cleaned, parboiled and dried before being broken up and sieved into different sizes. Being precooked allows the wheat’s naturally occurring nutrients to be retained, including protein and dietary fibre.
Traditionally used to make the much loved middle eastern dish, tabbouleh, the light, nutty flavour of Bulghur Wheat also makes it an excellent alternative to rice or as more nutritious version of your usual stuffings.
To cook: Soak in some boiling water (about 10 minutes), drain and voila, it’s ready to eat.
